A dream that we both had when we were younger is now our daily reality and let me tell you
IT. IS. SO. AWESOME!
There is just something so magical about seeing all the pieces, people, and creativity come together to create an amazing and unique grand finale! When we met back in 2016, we had the best time talking about our “over-the-top” parties we have thrown for our kids. We both quietly waited for God to show us the right time to test run this crazy idea of throwing lavish parties for others. One day, out of the blue, we get a message asking for help with a graduation party…
HELLO OPEN DOOR!
One event turned into 2 years of events, so we decided to make it “official” and opened up Inspired Events…and then Covid hit. We adapted with what seemed like seamless effort thanks to God opening doors with virtual events and customized gift baskets. Now we get to satisfy our need to design and throw lavish parties on a regular basis!

There is a lot to know about me. Much like aging a fine wine, I'm still getting better as time goes by. What you should know is that I love to have a good time. I especially love helping others have a good time with the bonus of being surrounded by all the little details that make them smile. I spent my young adult years dreaming up, creating, and throwing amazing, detailed, themed birthday parties for my (now grown) daughter. I spent my time daydreaming of creating over the top, detail oriented events for others but I never found the right time to take the leap into the event planning business world.
What you'll get to experience is a mom of 3 (who will remind you to drink water), a little sarcasm (ok, sometimes a lot), and bouts of double checking (I can't really help it, but some think it's one of my best qualities). My keen sense of logistics and love of to-do lists are just a few skills I am excited to bring to the table. When we meet, I'll probably reference my husband and girls at least once, listen intently, and make sure you know how truly honored I am that you're entrusting us with your special day, event, or gift. Being able to bring life to a beautiful idea and weave it all together to create an event is my passion. I absolutely love that this is my job, but I would be nothing without the stellar support I have from my husband, my girls, and my friends always cheering me on. If you are looking for an honest approach to planning with a side of "we're definitely going to be friends when this is over", then I'm your girl. This is your day, so let's get this party started!

Party planning has been a part of my life since I was young when I would help my parents plan ministry functions. It evolved into throwing larger than life parties for my children ever since they each turned one! My friends and family would tell me “you should do this for a living!” I never really pursued it further until I met Jami, another momma who loves to throw crazy big parties for her kids. As we got to know each other, we quickly realized we shared the same passions and would make a wonderful team.
My favorite part about our whole venture is seeing the event come together, watching all of the thinking, designing, and planning turn into a beautiful, well thought out picture. (The client’s reaction is a close second though!).
